First re-scan results are in:

It's not healed. It's barely tried to heal. In one place it's actually got worse. I'm now in an air cast boot and they've taken blood to test to see if I have any deficiences that are causing the bone not to heal properly.

Minimum of another 6 weeks.

UL m8. Air cast boots for the win, and the mahoosive pain in the arse, tho...

I had both my legs in them a few years back. Walked like a robot from a 50's sitcom. I'd say "funneh" but it wasn't. Not really.

Its probably the poor blood supply to that bone thats messing up the healing - hopefully the the boot will help.

Seems to be slowly getting there, go for more tests at the start of March.

It's the sun thing that'll be more the issue. Pretty hard to see the sun when your work hours mean half the year you leave work in pitch black and the other half the year is the busy time, which coincides with summer.

These were the crappy mobile pics, swelling on the foot doesn't show too well, although you can kind of tell by the fact the ankle isn't all knobbly.

Eye was a couple of days after so some of the swelling and cuts had gone.

Nothing exciting!

Who is the ugly cunt in the 2nd pic? I am hoping that you reported him to the Police for attacking you. I need a new picture for my dartboard... It is tossup between Wazzerphuk and Zarjazz and this ugly cunt.

So, luckily managed to see a specialist today. Was given an injection (into my BUMBUM!!!) of a quite frankly ridiculous dose of vitamin d. In a couple of weeks I need to start taking very high dose vitamin d tablets for a couple of months. Hopefully this will boost my very low levels up to normal to allow my bone to heal. Will return to him to figure out a more long term plan, depending on how this all goes.

Final eye appointment yesterday: Since the accident my pupil is now larger than before/my other eye. The loss of visual quality may well be permanent. Will require yearly tests for the rest of my life. Still some blood left to clear behind the eye. That said though, my vision is apparently still better than 20/20 (I could be a fighter pilot! Exciting!). Really annoying that the quality has decreased but I guess lucky that it's not worse.

First bit of good news regarding the foot at last: it's showing signs of healing!

Bad news is that it'll be at least another 6 weeks, possibly more. Then I'll have some pretty hardcore physio to deal with. I've already noticed that my calf muscle has withered away to nothing, hamstring has gone a bit and the quad has lost some as well. Them's the problems with aircast boots, they let you get about but they destroy your muscles.
