There’s been a lot of soul searching about Iraq and over half the population of the west thinks it was a mistake. including elected politicians. This is not the same for Russia’s invasions. They think it is justified and that non-Russians deserve it (mostly).

The west did not intentionally bomb apartment blocks and playgrounds and starve and execute prisoners. There are some bad apples but it wasn’t state policy.
