If our troops were about to commit war crimes then I’d agree but those are rare exceptions in our case, not par for the course as with Russians.

British soldiers sign up. Lots of Russian soldiers do not, the ones that do sign up are most likely to be the ones trained in the more advanced weaponry to commit war crimes.

The last time the British levelled entire cities, directly targeting a civilian population, was 80 years ago. It is a ridiculous argument. And even if it didn't show a child like grasp of the situation. Would that make it OK for Russians to do it? We know @Scouse would rather they were just allowed to get away with it, for reasons, but come on.

Fuck um, they can be a sanctuary for fish now. Better that than the killers of civilians.

I would rather they weren't dead, as in, I would rather they weren't there. But they are there, and they would have been part of the massacre. So yes, glad they are dead.

Even if those tanks would be firing only on the Ukrainian army they are doing so to ensure the Ukrainian army can’t stop the massacres. They would have been part of the operation which is committing mass war crimes even if they didn’t fire the shells themselves. There’s no distinction worth anything here. Mariapol is one giant massacre and any Russian involved bears responsibility.

You still haven't demonstrated how "the opposite is obviously the reality" despite making the claim twice. Kill Russian troops, destroy all their stuff; that's how you fight a war. It might not be how you fight a "special military operation", but until thousands or millions of Russian families start noticing little Ivan hasn't come back from the Special Military Operation, they're not going to start protesting the war, which is narratively entirely controlled by Putin's goons at the moment; most Russians are supporting this war; not the case in our misadventures in Iraq.

I honestly find it hard to give the slightest of fucks for the poor Russian conscripts; stop letting dictators run your country you servile pricks. And yes this has been a choice "Putin, strong leader to protect the Rodina"; this has been the Russian playbook for hundreds of years and the cunts haven't learned a thing.
