please oh please let that be true.. !!
I did post an article a few pages back
Oh yesLol, Twitter just permabanned Trump.
Oh yes
They released a statement saying its permanent too.
This is all very hilarious, but half of America voted for him and that isnt going anywhere soon.
He wont be prosecuted.
Biden will very quickly show his true form.
Everyone will realise the country is split in two in exchange for the same old shit different day.
Its all a learning process I suppose
Hes back on...mainly because hes the president and also he is a considerable portion of twitters traffic.
Dwarfing Bidens 21m with 88m.
Has some merit.Half the country who voted for him are watching the establishment that they despise and used Trump as a calling point against them, shutting down his and their voice.
What?OK freddies. we all know @Job's a knobber but this:
Has some merit.
Some merit, mind. It's not 100% bob-on but it's thematically reasonable.
I know Trump "deserves" it but does the fact that it's actually been done to the current President of the USA (that title still means something) who did indeed receive a lot of votes (whether you think all his / republican supporters are dumb/sheep or not), not give anyone else pause for thought?
I know it's immediately gratifying but in the grand scheme of things that shows an incredible amount of power in undemocratic hands.
Consider the theoretical scenario: you voted for someone who you think is right but they narrowly lose. They espose a correct but obviously unpopular viewpoint and their voice / ability to talk directly to their supporters is removed by a couple of zuckerberg-types who only seek profit.
You wake up the day after the vote and that discussion is over. Not for you, of course, but the realistic possibility of furthering the argument for something you fervently believe is correct has been severely set back and you feel this harms you, democracy and everyone in the country - as you feel the majority have made a mistake (brexit-like).
But it's over. You've been shut down.
Should corporations have the decision making power to decide what's allowable? In a very real way that makes them master.
Undoubtedly @Deebs. 100%.He violated the ToS of a private company's platform which HE chose to use. Fuck him, he got what he deserved.
Trump opponents greet suspension with plaudits and jokes while allies claim censorship
