Unlocking Maulers in 3 days...

I been thinking today and come up with an Idea on how all Realms can activate Maulers in 3 days instead of 2 months play.

We all know how hard it is to activate Maulers. With the server how it is, its even more harder, so...

We all want to activate Maulers and as quick as possible, no? So heres my idea...

Each Realm have 1fg Volunteers which will be on stick with enemy realm players (Reason is because of Relic to keep it on max %)

Raid Rules:

Day 1 - 2fg Hib with 1fg Mid or 1fg Alb Volunteers
(healers will need to rezz group so they can stick throughout Raid)
Day 2 - 2fg Mid with 1fg Alb or 1fg Hib Volunteers
(healers will need to rezz group so they can stick throughout Raid)
Day 3 - 2fg Alb with 1fg Hib or 1fg Mid Volunteers
(healers will need to rezz group so they can stick throughout Raid)

So on day 1 for example the 2fg Hibs will just concentrate on activating the Mauler with enemy fg on stick to keep the relics on full power.

day 2 - same as day 1 but 2fg Mid instead

day 3 - same as day 1 but 2fg Alb instead

I know this will prolly be against CoC but really to be honest I dont see any other option apart from each realm Co-operating to activate Mauler...

Anyway my thoughts, tell me if you think this is good or bad

No I don't particularly want Maulers ASAP. I only just got lotm activated due to GOAs fantastic billing system and I would like to explorer the lab before everyone goes off to pl their new maulers.

Cross realming is against SOTG.. or at least that what GOA wil say.

I dont really mind if everyone helps out, then again i am not that one you give your money too..

I wounder though, GoA made an event a couple of years back, where all 3 realms were to work together to clean out an attacking force in a Battleground...

Was that Cross-realming?
Working together shouldnt be cross-realming, unless it can be proven ingame that the realms have had information flowing between them during or for this raid!:) And as long as no one says:"The mids are saying: xxxx", "And the hibs are telling us to do: xxx"

Should be doable, according to the rules, but I highly doubt that the players will stay away from killing eachother...with all the horners out there its all about the almight RPs...

i think a lot of us would rather get the mauler activated off our own backs without the assistance of the other realm. AND although it will be a few weeks while the timer ticks down to guarentee each realm i would much rather organise a HIBERNIAN event and get the relics than have the likes of horner assist me.

I would just feel soiled.

I'd check with GoA before going ahead thou, anyways I'm game for this as I'm mainly a PvE person I'd like to play Maulers in some PvE asap.

Why make a timer for a new class anyways, can't see the point of holding new race/class from low population realms, should be the other way around, where lower population get new toys first and then the higer populated realm.

Not attacking an enemy can be considered a violation of the CoC depending on the circumstances, secondly you cannot compare the two, there is no similarity to allow a comparison to be made as you suggest. It's like saying "I'm a penguin, I can swim, therefore Kelly Osbourne is a dyke".

And your actually wrong on point two anyway, this is clearly an attempt at crossrealming and therefore (the word used in it's proper context :)) clearly bannable.

It's NOT against the CoC to decide to not kill everything you come across, thats your personal choice.
However, organising a crossrealm event using a 3rd party proccess (irc, forums or even voicecoms) is. :p

the only way i can see this done is after next tuesday when the number of relics required drops to 15 and is based on my hope that ml6/ml10 sojo will be able to port relics to frontiers.

so, the plan could be like this:
every realm set a "unlock day" and organise a force to gather all the relics needed to unlock the mauler in a 20-30 minute timeframe. i really think it can be done with the proper numbers and organisation IF the other 2 realms dont interfere at all.

there are 7 lvl1 relics - they can be done solo/duo (i did 2-3 of them solo with my ranger)
there are 7 lvl2 relics - they can be done in less than a fg... lets say 4 peeps

there is also the "pickup" relic from the central hub

so we already have 15 relics that can be taken in less than 10 minutes if all the soloers and minigrps are on the relic spots and start bashing mobs at the same time. unfortunately, all relic carriers need to be a ml6 sojo or to have a ml10 sojo grouped to port the relics to cain/ligen (or the coresponding mid/alb keeps) then crau (beno/bled) then rush to agramon center on aoe speed.

so, does hibernia have 15 active ml6/ml10 sojos ? (sad question i know)





but we all know there are some characters out there (in all three realms) that will prolly do everything they can to spoil it.

not a bad idea but i can for see one problem at the mo get the soloers and small grps to the relics sooo may people keep saying to me its confusing as hell down here how you know the way (i only know the way from playing usa)

and your idea allso has one other floor Larimorn is lab only ie you can have it in the labby so you only have

- Arrektos: Style/Spell Cost Reduction
- Parapeche: Efficient Healing (Heals cast ON the wielder will restore more hit points)
- Farsia: Bonus to Healing (Heals cast BY the wielder will restore more hit points)
- Unver: Siege Damage/Protection (Increases siege damage from siege used by wielder. Reduces siege damage dealt to wielder)
- Temel: XP/RP/CHXP Bonus

Tier 2 Minotaur Relics (Group Effects)

- Atakan: Style/Spell Cost Reduction
- Aphanizo: Efficient Healing (Heals cast ON group will restore more hit points)
- Apollumi: Group Fault Finder (Group will do more damage to keep and tower doors and keep walls)
- Ton Amon: Hit Point Bonus
- Thatanu: Bonus to Healing (Heals cast BY group will restore more hit points)
- Benun: Siege Protection (Reduces siege damage dealt to group)
- Mahir: XP/RP/CHXP Bonus

so 14
then you will need a fg or maybe a few more to get the 15th as its one of the lvl 3
Tier 3 Minotaur Relics (Area Based Effects)

- Golden Gear: Style/Spell Cost Reduction
- Igorn: AE Health Regen Buff
- Tiagorot: AE Power Regen Buff
- Euren: XP/RP/CHXP Bonus

but nice idea (sorry if it seems like im trying to but a dampner on your pan),it might work but you will need more peeps(at least 5 that know there way arounf the laby) and more time

tbh i think most realms will get it at 10 relics and you idea would work at that stage
