My son is dyslexic and a very bright young lad. He has learnt to overcome a lot of the processing issues but that is mainly due to the schools, Ed Psych and extra help he has had adapting the learning processes. I doubt Trump would have had the same level of help given his age. Edit: If that is his issue.

Why the fuck was he invited for a state visit so soon any way? That's the biggest problem. Obama visited the UK in his first year in office, meet with the PM and leader of the opposition and then meet the Queen. It was not a state visit and he didn't speak to parliament.

It wasn't until 2 years later that he was offered the full state shindig. This is how it should be.
