Constant use of dubious reasoning to meet the agenda, will simply result in the government introducing new legislation which will ultimately cause more hardship in the long run.
That is not a suitable argument in this case and will be seen as such by Trump supporters, regardless of its technical legality.

Not releasing tax returns and separating himself properly from his business, making it easier for non-profits to donate to political causes, making it easier for his "friends" companies' to have access to loans, he's just in it to line his own pockets.
