I don't see much softening of views in any of that (except perhaps on global warming), just a politician slithering from campaign-mode stridency to government-mode reality. He's clearly still a fascist cunt, and history will remember and revile him as such.

He might actually be the first president. Nixon was smart enough to resign but i VERY much doubt that Trump will leave in any other way then being dragged out kicking and screaming... But that scares me a little tbh, he may just be insane enough to start a major war in an attempt to stay... Maybe that's why he's so aggro towards other nations? Maybe he hopes that he can piss them off enough that they declare war and he can kick off some obscure laws that makes it impossible to kick him out...
It kinda makes a lot of what he do make sense if that's his goal....
Bannon is itching to go to war with China. The crackpot things he's said in the past need to be taken in a new light given how powerful he suddenly is. He is obsessed with war.

It'll only go that far if trump push the button first. And the second he do that he's gonna get pretty much the entire world against him. And the republicans knows that so they will hopefully approve that first strike bill the democrats have put forth that would make the president need congressional approval before launching a first strike with nuclear weapons..

She said that this happened on Obama's watch and she got the point in that the media (fake news blah blah blah) didn't cover it and lots and lots of people will take that and run with it.
Speaking of covering and not covering events, Trump said precisely fuck all about that attack in Quebec last week (you know, the one by the white man where people actually died) and today he made a tweet about the barely-even-an-attack attack at the Louvre, raging about Islamic terrorists. Trump just tweeted about 'Islamic terror' attack that killed 0. Still nothing about white man who shot 6 in a mosque.
