Thought I'd give you all an update from the land of the free, it's been an interesting last 24 hours, and the mood here in New Jersey is...remarkably upbeat. Not necessarily because Trump won, more because Hillary lost. I told you you had all underestimated just how unpopular she was over here, and last night proved it.

In fact the only reason it was so close was because she was up against Trump, if the Republican candidate had been a bit more conventional, the consensus over here appears to be they would have walked it.

I'd also suggest you're on crack if you think Bernie would have stood a chance of being elected, he's viewed as a bit of a communist, and would have done even worse than Hillary.

If a guy comes along and says they are going to fuck off all the cheap imports and force industry to make stuff there again...then they are likely to vote for him, what have they got to lose? People who want to work have no jobs, entire towns are destitute because often the towns sprang up around a single factory.

Republican turnout has stayed roughly the same the last 3 elections.
