Oo oo oo this thread is perfect for my Chinese proverb

Ahem

Society grows great when old men plant trees in which they'll never sit in the shade of.

Turnbury is a much nicer course though with better facilities, just doesn't have the history.

Which St Andrews course? As there are 6 of them, a couple are indeed nicer courses than the Old (The Jubilee especially). However the experience of the Old Course really is second to none, apart from maybe Augusta.

There's also very little of the usual elitism in St Andrews, mostly as they are all municipal courses, so anyone can play, as long as you have a handicap certificate.

Not to mention the numerous courses at Turnberry.

It's a lovely place, been a few times, but it's too cut off. St Andrews has that undeniable legacy.

St Andrews also has lots of lovely courses less than an hour away, obviously there's Kingsbarns, but there is also a fantastic course about 20 minutes way in Tayport, Fife called Scotscraig, which I've had many fantastic rounds at.

Donald Trump is a massive fuckwit and needs to shuffle off the mortal coil in a way that is entertaining for the rest of us. And on the subject of wind farms:

They're unreliable and ridiculously expensive to produce and they're an eyesore imo. Tidal power is a much better alternative to Nuclear/coal power plants because untl the Moon finally pulls itself out of orbit, there will always be tides and wave action.

Also, mating turbines to Megnetohydrodynamics, why hasn't anyone thought of this yet?

Did that family really think they would cruise through US security when one of the kids was posting links to terrorist websites on his facebook and another had been detained in Israel.
Right up there on the watch list.

It certainly shows the intellectual level of the voters he's going for :)

Trump threatening to sue his rival because he might not be American.

I find American politics disgusting sometimes, they're meant to be in the same fucking party.

This stage is pretty much 'how many buzzwords can you use to get supporters, but not follow through with those buzzwords, because when you're president, you're actually a pawn.'

American politics, or at least nationally are about 1 person and 1 person alone.

So is pretty much any politics, the Labour mostly lost the election because their leader at the time appeared to be a complete moron with about as much likability as bad aids.

They will lose the next election because their leader is a complete moron with about as much likability as bad aids that keeps spouting unworkable, unrealistic, lefty bollocks.

(Not including the middle class idiots that vote Labour regardless, because OMG the Tories closed down a pit in the 80s, right on, right on - but enjoy the benefits brought to their own lives via the Tories)
