That was not my reaction at all. My friend and I just kind of looked at each other and shrugged. It was all kind of leading up to it?

Oh I knew he'd reappear just because of his role in...that other series (don't want to spoilt it for others). I just didn't expect to see him revealed like that.

Personally I think things are going to go very bad. There won't be a happy ending.

I had read some theories about him online but I thought that was just jokey speculation. What a cracker of an episode.

That was one of the most satisfying endings to a TV show I've ever watched. Really stuck the landing.

I think that when it comes to storytelling, television has easily overtaken the world of film.

Loved TD. Brilliant show. Excellent story, well crafted and brought together with outstanding acting, cinematography and music. Couldn't ask for more. Felt the finale was, if anything, a little underwhelming (mostly due to how insanely well paced and built up rest of it was really) but on the balance of the whole show I'd say it's up there with the best things I've ever watched.

I thought it went downhill massively after ep 4. Pace slowed right down, all the mystery disappeared and it just turned into a well produced procedural cop show with a sister-fucking hillbilly.
