Tribes 2 Is Changing How I Speak

As I said in my column, I'm finding that Tribes 2 Messaging is changing the way I speak.

Is this happening to anyone else? If so, what examples can you give us?

or should I say:

"GIVE ME EXAMPLES OF HOW TRIBES 2 CHANGES THE WAY YOU SPEAK!"

and everyone in my office says WTF?!

I also think LOL instead of laughing.

and Shazbot appears all to often.

I agree with Mantis in the "I've got your numbers..." as I've been caught saying that a couple of times. My usual ones though are carry-overs from the original Tribes... "Doh!", "Shazbot!" and "Arrgh!".

And yes, I have done the "Hurry up with that station!" to someone in the queue for a cash machine.

lol, I have been known to use shazbot on occasion, and with some of my m8s when chatting to then, have used the old abbreviations (e.g. vgb for bye)

I dont think this is Tribes2 related to a full extent.
but i have found on numerous times that when im busy working and the mrs says something i will reply back with "ok m8"
trust me when i say this you do not want to do that

Quick thinking doesnt help the damage is done and bruises to prove it, although i couldn't help but laff my ass off while she was trying to strangle me. Working online and in irc a hell of a lot of time does have this affect.

The only tribes 2 comment i have used IRL was again towards her and it was VGTB (haha Is that the best you can do) and yes this was directly after the above incedent.

But I substitute the words like:

There is something I have never understood with that sentence... Shouldn't you say something like :

"All your kebab belong to us" instead of "are belong to", am I mistaken, or is this a particular wording that only apply to "are belong to us" ? Also is there a particular history behind that ? A movie quote ?
