Reasons-
1- Shamans have it all ^^ damage. aoe, interupt, heals,rez,chain,buffs.
2- Assasins that can oneshot enemy casters at this level
3- AoE dot class's
4- Heals, AoE mez/stun, rez.
5- Perfect Hunter killer class, Not bad melee skills combined with insta DD/mez/snare and Speed.

you kept killing our lvl 20 healer in /level gear

shamans have no instas in BG

so any caster class stands as much chance of interupting shammy as shammy does of interupting the caster

The most fun I've had in BG is with a cave-shaman, have been running around solo most of the time and enjoys it very much. Though it's time to get my hunter and runie ready for bg as well. Played hunter once a long time ago and had some fun with that one too, but not close to what I've had with my shammie

One thing I don't like with the shaman is that almost everyone thinks I'm bb-specced with full aug and requesting buffs all the time....

Btw nerf shooting at a kobbie from 500 range thinking it's a silly caster....Was surprised I got him to 50% with 1 shot but suddenly realised it was a bd with no pets up . I had to run till the bd was oop and I had 10 hp left or something like that

Yes air theurgists are nice but the pets are easily outrun-able when mids are camping cause they just last 20 seconds...

someone sent some earth pets after my skald at apk, and even with my speed I could just keep ahead of them everytime I turned they would come closer and I had to sprint to get ahead again, and the buggers followed me all the way from apk, to alb bridge when I made a soft turn and all the way back to apk before they died. was kinda scary, considering they are blue con it hurts quite a bit to have 3 of them hit you.

as for my list
(1) bonedancer for obvious reasons
(2) shadowblade, made one, capped him out, rerolled him, and capped out again, and in that time I only lost three 1on1 fights (armsman, mercenary and nightshade) and never to an infil
(3) skald, playing one atm, and damn it's fun to solo with him, hits pretty hard, can take on two at the time with his insta mezz and can dodge alb groups with his speed
(4) haven't played one, but seem some tear through the enemies like a hot knife through butter.
(5) not sure, but SM's seem pretty evil

can't really comment on the other realms, but some of the classes I hate the most to fight are theurgist, cabalists and sorcerer, I really despise pets, well.. I do they are not on my side

Earth pets are not air pets...Earth pets run a lot faster than ice or air pets, it's added in patch 1.68 iirc...

i think tanks have it best tbh, archers are killable by a smart tank even without insta interupt shouts

(and buffed tanks can have 800+ hp EASILY, even my valkyn had 808 hp, would hate to think what a dwarf would have )

my 24 troll warrior had just over 900 (if my memory serves me) hits when i played him... was like half a year ago so cant remember the exact number of hits he had... but it was around 890 to 910 hits...
