Tired of Goa's Incompentence and going public!

Yes u read it right. I am tired of Goa's Policy and how they run things.

Why am I posting this here? Because Goa never answers my appeals or emails about it and so i'm asking it again right here.

It has been what now - 6 months - since the big Prydwen meltdown. So far I hear nothing but happy players who are glad Goa gave them free items and cash for lost items.

I have lost - 2 LGM weps - random quality - 1 unactivated winged helm - 1 Caer Sidi minstrel piercer and yes - my friar was totally naked.

Untill now I have not received any word from Goa to replace anything i've lost - nor items - nor money. I had to refit my friar using my own money and I can only drool on what other players got to compensate their losses. I don't ask for 50 plat - I don't ask for 10 activated - lvl 10 - artifacts . I just ask - no I demand - to get MY lost items back in their big meltdown 6 months ago.

Are there other people here that did not receive any compensation for lost items here? Are u also unhappy with Goa's policy in 'fixing this asap' and then having to wait - 6 months now - for a word? Yes - call it QQ - or flame me - but I want what's mine back - just like anyone else here. Period.

No-one has been forgotten or left out and as we have said in the news a couple of times, we will not be able to reply to updates on your original question. It's not possible to give anyone an ETA on when their particular case will be sorted and if it were and we did, we'd be doing nothing else all day except fielding requests for an ETA.

No-one's doubting your frustration, and Eggy's genuinely trying to help. His suggestion to check your Junk Mail is a valid one.

Honestly, there's no need to bite the head off people trying to help.

They don't. GOA sends and email requesting the account to be opened again when an account is closed several of my friends got it when their accounts were closed and got their items restored within a couple of days after re-opening them.

personaly it sucked completly i agree with mandi 100% they sould buck there idea's up at goa i only had a lvl 24 merc stripped and i got sorted 3 days later some how i would have thought lvl 50 players items and such would be more important than a lvl 24 in rog armor

You are welcome to take a look in the free vaults in Tosen's Cityhall, Old Sarum lot 748 prydwen. Im sure there are things who can help you. So many ppl helps me and Tosen to keep the vaults full at all time and so far we have only see ppl take for needs and not greeds in the vauls so lots of nice stuff there.
I hope you will be on your feet with your chars very soon.

Thanks for the offer but i'm fine - really - got enough money to equip 5 more alts and my 4 lgm crafters can make the best items u can possibly get .Its just the principle of the thing really.

edit : writing this I got ganked on lvl 35 alt just down DF stairs by a rr10 mid camping it - don't u guys got anything better to do then gray ganking? i know how you feel mandi. i too have a char thats not restored yet. he was only lvl48 tho but i started getting him items at lvl 45 so lost a few items like a lvled golm, demon blood ring, cloudsong, gov and other things that was either activated or w8ing for scrolls to be activated. i can only hope its my bloody turn soon.

Right the same day when Darkness Rising was out...

To me it seems more like a coming back teaser than real help cause tbh...so many months after the crash???

Both my accounts are inactive & probably will stay that way...and one of the reasons is the customer service i got till now. Being in daoc since beta...playing it for a couple of years non stop...and still you get 0 help when needed.

Of course the 40P will help if i ever decide to give the game a 3th try, but for now it just doesn't sound appealing.

So you see, you are not alone in getting "help" this late...

Its really nice that people that lost items, dont get nothing, not even a mail saying they are working on it.
But people that didnt loose things, said they lost expensive shit and got loads of stuff from GoA.. like sililia's neckie(you know who you are.)
It fucking rocks to have 3 nude chars, can't delete them or I wont get my stuff back, and can't use them cause they are nude.
I got a confimation that I sent a complaint to rightnow, some months ago, and I have not hear one single fucking word from GoA yet. Incompetent as a pair of dead mice.
