Great planned, only one thing actually spoiled it.

Hibs beeing on Dragon-raid at that time!!!

This lead to 250+ insta hibs pop when they did see the keeps drop :/

The planning (excellent as it seems to be) is just a waste of time Im afraid, there was no chance at all of this being successful.

Those numbers? we were 10 FGs at Dagda and that is it, ok more ppl were inc but they were far away when the server crashed. 10 FGs is a minimum for any relic raid. Even hibs brought 120 ppl (15 Fgs) when you raided Grallarhorn the last time. The doors would've gone down real fast and those hibs charging dagda would've died for sure by the LARGE amount of supp SMs we had boxing the gatekeepers.

yeah, why draylor, it seemed to me that from the first keep take spam to teh emain crash there was only about 10 minutes. And 5 or 6 hib keeps taken, now that is GOD DAMN impressive. The planning is horrendous for that kind of set up, the numbers required, are, alas more than poor old Excalibur can handle at the moment.

Wasnt YOUR 10fg that did it, was the OTHER 30 fg of hibs/albs come to join the pardy.

Was a nice plan Adramels, VERY well planned.. although hibs can never expect that many people ever on a relic raid, we did have a massive zerg crop up at collory.. 250+.. very impressive, I think we'd have been in for a fun fight and we would not have lost so easily or at all

Great plan, wish someone had told me from start that we would give albs the power relics, if I had known that, I would be still online safe in mid!!!

Love to see mids all get together like this, but as a CASTER, I really wish mid would for once remember we also have a use for magic relics not just strength..

10 fg's would have been a thin red paste had not the server gone down.. wasn't nearly enough.

With our epic quest zone/40-50 lvl zone so close we kinda knew there was something up due to the lag before the keeps went down.. then came the reports from the keeps.

most of us were already on way to dc and forming up in daft numbers.

was looking forward to a nice fight too shame really beacuse its nobody's fault except GOA's.. hopefully this will give them the kick up the arse they so badly need and upgrade this damn server and everything to do with it QUICKSMART!. Just because this is an english language server doesnt mean we dont count..
Europe - (germany+france) still = most of europe.. we deserve better for our increased subs.

NP would have no chance to stop 250 hibs coming for mid blood.

allso at the moment of the server crash albs was in controll of emain..

and still talking about if we should block MMG or let mid relic pass..

if albs desided to block MMG i think the mid carrier force would have a hard time dodging the hib army+alb zerg at mmg..

but you never know...

still hardest part would have been the 250 hibs inc..

(unless they tryed to run for the keep instead of figthing .. but i dont think they would have been that stupid..)

Why making it so complicated ?

With all the numbers needed to execute that plan you could have had a very fine uberzerg which would have knocked down the doors at dadga in no time, and maybe you would have been finished with it before the incoming hibs caused the zonecrash.

we leave the zerging to the albs... obviously albs like to zerg, we like to use tactics... that is what makes it more fun

I like complicated In my experience, it's a combination of the guard spawn and the incomming defenders that makes a relic raid fail, if you take away one these threats, you can handle the other. We knew hibs were inc but we didn't expect you to come all at once.

Actualy hibs were tried to enter.
I had insane stream of rps from all those who tried to enter throught gatekeeper.

Would be realy shame to loose it :>

Just before the Crash there was a huge Deathspam from dieing Hibs who tried to enter the keep. I was about to enter Cain at this moment. If there wasn't a Crash iam sure Mids would have atleast 1 Power Relic now

Drop it, already, the "skill and tactics" discussion won't fly. I have seen enough Mid zergs to know there is no difference between the realms in this regard, and the recent Alb relic raid -- even if it was early -- was also very well-synchronized.

Yes that raid was very well-synchronized, no question about it.

I think we were like 8-10 fg´s that went down to Dagda in the first place, then we had a few other groups inc after a little while more. so we were like 120-150 ppl doin this raid all together.

The only reason so many of you came was because of the dragon raid, otherwise you would've come in smaller grps. you came in smaller grps and died up to the point when the server crashed.

A nice plan, and nice execution, the biggest pity is the outcome, thanks to the top notch server we have.

Hibs have pretty much learned that trying to get into a relic keep that is being attacked, without sos, is pretty much impossible.

We send out stealthers, then gather up at Cain and come as one huge force. Plus the bind stone is now very close as opposed binding at Ligen you jump off and bind en route.
