Deebs reccomended me cdjs keys a few years back for Windows licenses not that I ever used them but he said he has been doing it for years whats ur advice

I use it fairly often, just make sure you double check info before you buy for region locks and accounts.

I have noticed that Loaded don't sell accounts which is new, I wonder if that's where they've been stung in the past.

Mostly the same, a visit to doctors scan the barcode on id or kela card (kela card similar to national insurance card)

If you don't have the card give them ID number. If they require you to pay something or you want to get any data other than your current visit they will ask for ID

Usually if you book the appointment online you will sign in with your digital ID. Taking actions that are sensitive require a step up authentication, so for example I can login to doctors site, but to book the appointment I need to input a pin in bank app also.

This same app based auth is even used if you try to do stuff over the phone to make sure you are authorised to do stuff.

Biggest (and I suspect the one peeps in UK would like the least) is showing ID to vote. Other than that its mostly if a cashier thinks I look under 30 (rare 😀) or the automation tells them its time to show ID

Interestingly its implemented quite differently across the Nordics even if principle is the same. In Finland its run by the banks, so its distributed, which makes adding new ones a pain as you have to go through hundreds of integrations. In Denmark its all via MitID and is a 3rd party company paid by the govt so all central, integrations are easy but risky as you said.
So you have to carry it - and I don't like it for the doctors tbh.

What about police? Do you have to show ID if stopped?

I don't really need it for PC. But I was hoping for Xbox games even though I have GamePass. However, I like to buy some games outright.

My friends buy game keys from "CD Keys" now rebranded to "Loaded" are they legit? I have heard of them before but I am aware they are "grey market" so I am skeptical. Does anyone here use them or have any experience with them?

Never had an issue.

I've bought Horizon Forbidden West and also The Last of Us 2 on Steam from them, they're fine.

McDonalds chicken selects. Even better than KFC for the munchies.

Just had a double quarter pounder with extra cheese and bacon, and 9 of those badboys. A rare hungry day.

So the Anti-ID petition is now, after the Brexit ones, rapidly closing in on becoming the most supported.

Considering we don't currently have any problems with ID, the desire to foist this on a public that clearly has a very high level of dislike for this would make one a bit of a cunt, no?

It may only be a (not insubstantial) fraction of the population but the anti-brexit one made 6 million - when half the population were against it. Closing in on 2.5 so quickly shows the level of unpoularity for a non-manifesto, 2bn+ spend.

What did you use before? ATI cards? I had a GeForce2 MX400 that came with our Fujitsu, so that doesn't really count. I remember buying myself a GeForce4 Ti4600 for my first totally home built PC in 2002, and it was such a monster in terms of raw performance compared to anything I'd had before.
Sorry, really late reply but mom's been in and out of the hospital. COPD is fucking scary late stage.. :(

I honestly can't remember. I know i used a voodoo 2 card up until about half a year to a year after DAoC released (SO many textures in the game wasn't showing on that card lol). but i had to have used something else in between then and the 250. Probably was an ATI card of some sort now that i think about it.

Digital ID cards and live facial recognition:

This is a policy announcement of the future Labour wants to build.

If ypu've nothing to hide, you've nothing to fear, right?

Remember, Tony Blair floated the idea of getting access to kinects' cameras so the state could monitor antisocial families in their living rooms.

When do Labour announce their new Minority Report department? They can fuck right off, we already have invasive CCTV everywhere. I suspect they will install more IR cameras so we the plebs can be taxed fart pollution.

Jesus fucking christ, sat here with the Trump news conference on, he his not all there. Repeats himself several times all the time, mentions that he is the best President ever. How the fuck did America vote twice for this?

Every leader in the Middle East is great, fantastic, amazing and oh yeh great, fantastic and amazing.

Just goes to show how massive a failure the Democrats have been in recent years. They seem to be clueless about what Americans actually vote for and how to compete against Trump.

I also suspect they may need to lie more....

I don't think that's possible Jup.

The lies isn't what defines the republicans. They lie as much as each other. Trump was voted for in much the same way as Reform will get voted for - the parties on offer haven't done anything different to materially change what enough people feel is a horrible status quo and lots of working class are choosing a party of disaster because at least they feel something will change.

Labour are doing the same as the Dems here. They're lying to the public about why they're doing things. However, Labour doesn't care - Starmer knows it's likely a one-shot deal, so he's going to do whatever the fuck he can to get what he wants done before Labour are through.

He was on the news again talking about peace in the Middle East and his role, he actually said the following:

one of the great days ever in civilization

Um dozy cunt, firstly how about comparing the 2 World Wars to the localised conflict in the Middle East.

They've also put forwards two appalling candidates against him. Hillary was pretty much the most hated woman in America, and Kamala was, well, useless.

Thing is as well, if you look at a lot of Trumps policies, they are remarkably similar to what the Democrats were proposing in the 90s.

Think they need to focus more on border security and helping the less well off than the 271 made up genders and state run grocery stores.

The dems are just flailing about. There's no consistent message. I live in a blue district in a blue state and there's no communication with the voters. It's just coastal elites deciding stuff. With almost the US news sites being pay walled, they have almost no way of reaching me anymore. I don't watch TikTok, don't have cable TV and don't listen to the radio. If you were to ask me what the dems stood for, it would be hard to define.

My friend donated $25 to the Harris campaign after door to door campaigners spoke to him. Three days after, he got a phone call asking for more money. Every day he was called 2-3 times a day asking for donations. It turned him right off ever dealing with the democatic party again. And then it turns out that the Harris campaign was only targetting registred Dems for their cold calling and house calls. They never approached non registered voters or republican voters to get their message across.

They need to start focusing on how they'll improve the lives of the average voter, and then hammer the message home over and over. Call out the people they're running against for voting for Trump policies and how they made their lives worse.
