Fixed it for you.
Makes no difference whether you call it "up" there or "down" there.Fixed it for you.
Yes. Because what we want to see is the deaths of elderly people on a big scale in this country. We don't love our own families. If they voted leave we all desparately want them to die.Anyway you should all be delighted..as Terry Christian tweeted, hopefully it comes over here and takes out all those old leave voters.
I believe I called the degree unpractical not pointless...Education for education's sake is valuable in it's own right.
Apart from being important to enrich the life of the student it enriches us all, every day.
Ask yourself this: who do you like to hang out with? People who know fuck all, or people with interest?
Education offers way more societal value than being a poop-tube churning out drones for the jobs market.
Yup we just have to hope the current one isnt as easily spreadableSeriously? Spanish flu killed more people than WW1, at least 2.8% of the entire population of planet Earth. It was probably the second highest death rate from disease in human history
And you brought a graph to the party, that showed it could potentially be as bad as Spanish Flu - which killed more than WW1.I was pointing out media sensationalism., not disagreeing with efforts to contain it.
Yep. I prefer the term "niche"I believe I called the degree unpractical not pointless...

If an individual wants to spend 4 years enjoying the university experience and rack up loans then this is fine - but still many are shocked in the market place when a person with 3 years experience and a vocational qualification is taken over their arts degree (not just in the UK). Most people in my profession take a related degree to maximize the number of exemptions they get during the professional phase - equally I have employees current and old who did 2 degrees then took professional exams, however they are still behind in comparison with those who went via the vocational route.
As for who I drink down the pub with - my circle of friends have people from all walks of life - do not concern yourself with my enrichment I do not struggle here![]()
Oh I have no doubt .... but why in a sky fairy’s name is working in the “Big 4” the be and end all - I have worked with so many awesome finance individuals who did not come via that route..... at one point one of the large orgs I worked for specifically stopped recruiting them as the success rate to convert to commercial life specifically communication with less well educated co workers was a disaster.
Even if you do an alternative degree, in finance to be a CFO you have to do your professional exams - the choice of whether one wants exemptions or not or whether you want to be Chartered Finance / Chartered Management or Certified is very
personal and will determine the type of finance professional you decide to be long term. For me I absolutely did not want to be an auditor so I took the CIMA route

Guy was black. But doesn't prove racism tbh. It's just ITV avoiding the appearance of it.

I heard he was talking about bbc people being pricks or something. So he gets sacked after 40 years for quoting a bit of Shakespeare? Who was he having a go at? Please say it was David Lammy. The very definition of ignorant posturing for the cheap seats.
Lately I seem to be watching an awful lot of woodworking videos. The skill required is impressive.
