No it doesn't.Actually most does cut it
Devil is in the detail, which you appear to be missing:
1) Fast charge is for a tesla is 1 hour and 25 minutes - not half an hourIf you are driving that long and half an hour fast charge (down to 20 mins with the new teslas apparently) is a total deal breaker perhaps plan your trips better
2) If I have to add an hour and 25 minutes onto my weekend trips then I don't get to eat on a Friday night and I also have to go out of my way to find charging systems because typically my destinations are remote.
Planning is exactly what I do for my weekends - down to the minute and I'm really good at it as I've been living this lifestyle for a long long time. I look at electric cars and there's no getting around it - they're utterly unsuitable for me and no amount of planning can fix that. There *has* to be a technological fix.
Range anxiety it may be - but it's not "misinformation and myths" - it's utterly unworkable as it currently is for me.The biggest problems adaptation faces is range anxiety (see scouses post above) which is a lot of misinformation and myths
At the moment current car technology suits everyone's needs. Electric car tech may suit "most" people but "most" fucks over a lot of people. It's the age-old human thing - as long as "most" get covered then who gives a fuck about minorities eh?
Again - I'm all for it. If they could get a full charge down to, say, 20 minutes I could perhaps justify an electric car (though it would definitely still annoy me).
