Anyway came to say one of my good mates was found dead today in his house, he broke his neck two years ago faceplanting his MB and was partially paralysed, he eventually cut off all contact with everyone and we think he took his own life or just OD'd on the white stuff.
He was a crazy bastard superbike racer, then a top senior Enduro racer...and a fricking MB ended it all, lost his house, his girlfriend, then cut off everyone...as in he would just scream abuse at anyone who called.
So careful out there guys.

sucks to hear Job. an mtb mate of mine recently had an accident and is looking at a year+ revalidation. that is nothing like (partial) paralysis and potentially topping ones self because of it but, tbh, he's well shocked. young guy, thought he was an mtb god. a well placed wet root and an nasty fall can really fuck up someone's life.

I'm back off to Scotland next weekend - ostensibly to walk up Nevis, but I'm taking the bike... :(

I posted it before..he was lucky to survive the accident, he landed face down in a puddle and his whole body was paralysed at first..he was drowning in 3 inches of water...luckily another rider came down the trail and pulled him out..he got 60% back over the next few months..but had to walk with sticks like someone with cerebal palsy.

We're off to Scotland in September - none of this walking up hills silliness though, as there aren't any in St Andrews. Lots of golf courses though :)

Do catch up, @Gwadien. He wants to bang underage girls, I don't think a bit of sneaky incest is off the table.

Banging your cousin is not incest, but I agree with the sentiment, it's six finger valley dodgy and I'm not surprised for a second it's coming from @Job

Nevis is dull, pick something else.
Was on my phone and lost signal earlier. Yeah, gotta bag it at some point and there's a group going so that's definitely happening.

Out of interest tho - what's your, say, top 5? :)

It really depends what you want out of the walk - views? difficulty? Munro bagging?
Honestly don't know. 5 walks that you enjoy the most.

Personally, if you could add into that 5 walks that you could ride a mountain bike down whilst you're at it that'd be grand, but that's an option, not a prerequisite :)

Edit: I like height.
