The biggest personal thing for me was rave culture, all the clubs in Liverpool turned into all night ecstasy dens, we went from girls dancing around handbags to everyone getting of their skulls all night in less than a year.
Every weekend by us there would be a back up of cars 15 miles long with everyone dancing on the bonnets and in the streets, you could literally get up at 4am, walk into the street, buy some Doves and join in.
It was a crazy, never to be repeated madness that defines the era for me
Here our local club in 1991, one of the best in the country, my mate actually videod this with the first Amstrad palmcorder.

went to some cracking raves in the 90's

Only a couple of years behind Manchester, as usual ;). I was lucky enough to be a student in Manchester during the whole Madchester/Acid/Hacienda phase, and then I went to Liverpool to do my Masters. I went to Cream not long after it opened, which was alright, and 051, which was quite good back then although I heard it turned into a hellhole later.

So the ships are still stuck in the Antartic ice and not a peep from the warmists

Well i'm quite sure that other situations and decisions would've put me to "now", which is reading that picture. Logic fail!

Saga continues - Icebreaker who's Helicopters rescued the scientists from the stuck ship are now stuck themselves - the Ice that trapped the original ship is way beyond the thickness the Icebreakers in the area can cope with so its messy. There was a plan to get the Polar Star to sail down from the US - it can cut through ice up to 21 feet thick compared to the 4-5 feet of the local icebreakers but not sure if its still en route (would take weeks to arrive).

Sounds like the russians might have to get involved. They are the daddies of ice breaking kit.

My thoughts exactly dude. Which is nice for me I suppose because only tiny areas of the US have ever drawn me. Canada on the other hand I will certainly visit!
