Every time I drive I see someone talking on their phone. If I were a policeman I'd just drive around unmarked with a mate taking photos out of the window all day. Then we'd hand them to the backoffice chumps who extract the reg and issue the ticket, along with an appeal form if the driver != the owner.

Which is fine, and I'd agree with it, but it doesn't (and can't) work for hands-free, which is what the article is about.

Except its bullshit anyway, it doesn't give specific numbers for handsfree. I'm not sure I agree with all this anyway, how is talking to someone handsfree any different than say talking with your partner in the front passenger seat?

See my post above, it is different, but that's actually besides the point, it's whether banning handsfree is enforceable that's the issue.

There is no difference, Sorry Gaff, I have to disagrwee with your statement that there is. Talking to a passenger, or indeed kids in the back seat, is just as distracting as talking on the phone (Hands free of course). If anything, it's even more so, as there is the temptation to look at the passenger while talking to them. It would be a totally unenforceable law.

Your passengers can see what you're driving conditions are because they're there. Someone talking on the phone cannot, so you would have to tell them to shut up or you'll call them back or whatever. I hate talking on the phone in the car so I avoid it whenever I can, I feel like I'm either concentrating on the phone call or the driving and that's just not the feeling I get when I'm driving with passengers.

All the research suggests otherwise. Telephone conversations demand attention with concentration that face to face conversations don't. And passengers can usually tell when road conditions mean the driver has to pay attention; someone on the other end of the phone can't do that.

My wife would keep talking if the steering wheel came off in my hand and we were heading for a cliff.

Trying to remember this music video where little stickmen go up and down elevators and through doors, etc.

The Swedish voiceover and themesong is a huge improvement to the English one. The Japanese theme songs (auto correct to "threesome" at first) trumps all.

Many voice actors who worked in Pokemon also did voice for Yu Gi Oh - American ones that is.

That is all.
