I thank the lord video phones are a recent revolution. When So Solid and Oxide and Neutrino were about and I was between 15 - 18 me and my mates used to hang around having a few beers and we always tried "chatting" over the the beats. I was fucking terrible at it. It makes my teeth hurt thinking about it.

But I would slag off the boy / girl (it is hard to tell with that barnet) but I do not want that crew coming after me, imagine they stood outside doing that for hours!!

Afaict the main cause is that it's relatively easy to make the stuff, and the junkies just inject it right after they're done, with no refining or cleaning up of stuff causing them to fall prey to all kinds of nasty things (like gangrene). If words don't do it for you then I'm sure google will get you what you want

The US customs can be "a little" suspicious of foreigners (it's their job after all). First time I went to the US I had to take an extra interview because they didn't recognize me from my passport photo, which was ten years old, no one told me this and only after a while into the second interview did I connect the dots myself and told them I had a 2nd form of ID. If the first person would have asked it would have saved me an hour and a lot of stress.
Second time I went to the US they asked the same questions but this time I could say yes when they asked me if I've been there before, after he saw the stamp in my passport he was no longer interested in any more questions. So, get in once and it gets easier if you want to come back.
Lovely country to visit, very friendly people.
