Blue mountains are fairly tame - and he only went for a walk from his hotel. Not as if he did a 127-hours and properly dived in.

Er...Glen? That's years old. Also, what that story doesn't tell you is that the guy that broke in and him had been feuding for ages. He wasnt a burglar, he was his neighbour and he "broke" in to tell the old guy to stop banging on his walls like he had been doing for months at silly o clock in the morning.

That's when you brick the doors up and leave them to it.

Not really.

It's harsh to sentence someone who's dog might just flip and act totally out of character.

We're already toughening up laws to ensure that anyone who owns a dangerous dog can be brought to justice

ALL dogs are "dangerous". In the same way that all men are potential rapists...

It's crucial that the laws we have in place act as a deterrent to stop such horrific incidents

How does this deter dogs from mauling people? Do they read the news now?

If you can't prove a teapot is orbitnig uranus, sscience says it's not there(in a nutshell, don't get caught in that :p).

So if you can't prove that you can change the future with your actions, because you can't see both the results of your action, just one, does it mean science sides with destiny and there is no free will?

Something weird happened today, I spotted the freakiest looking badass spider withbig beady eyes and major hairy legs while I'm lying under a boiler fixing it and I didn't freak in fact I ignored it and carried on.
It would seem my major fear of spiders has suddenly left me, got home and watched some repulsive spider videos..nope..nothing..I hath cured myself.

I'm pleased for you Job. Next time I have a big scary spider in my house I will think of your bravery while I run away screaming like a little girl :(

from a BBC article;

Five of its 10 members (United States, Russia, China, France and Britain, France) are permanent and have veto power.

The BBC can't string a sentence together, you expect them to be able to count?
