Selling alcohol in a place that is only accessible by driving there. Who on earth thought that was a good idea?

In before an alcohol-related accident occurs in the vicinity of this service area...

They should just have a copper stood outside handing out bans to anyone stupid enough to drink there.

It's silly because selling alcohol there isn't going to bring much profit/customers, but it's not stupid due to "being a temptation" as anyone who really wants to drink&drive can just buy a 6pack from local store before departing anyway.

road safety is one of the places where I think the nanny state is entirely justified. It's not just your own safety you're mucking with, it's mine, too.

Fuss over nothing tbh. Just because the restaurant will serve drink does not mean you have to drink it. I bet most people will skit it anyway at a service station you go for a piss and get fast food not many drivers will think "no I would rather have a 40 minute microwave meal instead". This is no worse than a Tesco that you have to drive too selling booze.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer chav.
Normally I baulk at celebrities being setup by the press, but boasting to a stranger of her drug contacts
while in her position is idiotic and says everything about her and her friends.

My Android (stock) calendar app is completely screwed. It was working fine last week, now suddenly it wont launch, no app can access it (list of calendars = null), etc

Question: Would a factory reset fix it? (obviously I'd do a Nandroid backup first then, if the calendar app is back to how it should be, flash kernal over it to get root and re-install all my apps)

Or, since the device is rooted, a factory reset would just wipe the phone but leave the corrupted files still there (or missing)?

Performed numerous reboots, nothing. Titanium Backup can't recover it for some reason. Its the entire com.android.calendar package. Can't even re-install it from the calendar .apk using Root Explorer :(. Searched Google and can't find anyone who's had the same problem and can't locate the relevant files to download (even if I knew which ones they were)

Sounds like you've frozen or deleted a component that the calendar app relied on
