There are loads of calendar related files in various places. I wouldn't have a clue if one was missing, corrupted, in the wrong place. Basically I just need Calendar 1.0 re-installed

Or do you mean boot into Recovery via CWM app and do a clear cache and clear dalvik cache then reboot ?

I've had my Galaxy S2 for 2 years and nothing has broken, no matter how much I sneezed on it. I actually dropped it about 4 feet onto a tiled bathroom floor the other day, it bounced out of its case (Casemate Barely There) and was fine. I thought for sure it was a goner.

My missus has had hers for 6 months and it's fucking up already. Random glitches I used to get from my HTC. Never had a problem with my iPhone however. I'm far from an Apple fanboy but it will take something absolutely incredible for me to go back to Android.

Will performing a factory reset then re-flashing stock GB ROM re-install the calendar app and delete all the gremlins?

(Last night I actually considered getting an iphone....the iphone 6 will be getting full HD screen, right?)

Yeah, they're a little glitchy - mine sometimes throws a wobbler when I plug the charger in. That's just like Windows XP after 12 months of use tho. However, I've yet to see an iphone without a cracked screen.

The fact that iphones are flimsy is enough of a no-no in itself. Also, android, especially on samsungs, is much easier to use.

If people drop things, they break. My iPhone 3GS has been rocking along for over 3 years now with no issues and the original screen is completely unblemished. That said the Swype keyboard on Android has convinced me that iOS has fallen behind.

My iPhone is the most solidly built phone I have ever owned. The fact it is so solid is why the glass breaks. The plastic Samsungs (while they survive drops better) fell much worse in the hand. And the glass breaking is a shit excuse if you drop it that's on you not Apple. Plus for a reasonable amount you can swap them during business hours and walk away with a new phone. The warranty and repair service is second to none in the phone world.

I realized reading Lamps post that I have never had to reset my iPhone. But on my Sensation I had to power it off every other week and i had to factory reset and reinstall apps 3 times in 8 months. My iPhone is over a year old now and shows no signs of needing a reset.

I never had to do any resetting of my Sensation.

Would take some effort to damage the screen on the One, don't even have a screen protector on it as it's near impossible to scratch. Think it's gorilla glass 2 or something. I did break my Sensation screen once when it fell really hard on the bathroom tiled floor. I had however, dropped it onto concrete and other places several times before with no damage. It all depends on how it connects with something.

Ive totalled the screen on my note...dropped it face down on a hammer from the top of a ladder..still works fine...though you can see the phones guts by the return button as a big chunk of glass has dropped out..its like phone gore.
