Hmmm, I liked the video. Did not see how it was an AD for IE though.
Didn't read the topic of the video and just assumed it was some of 90s nostalgia video :)

Best of luck mate.....I finally got a new job since moving to Boston (humblebrag) and I can appreciate how much job searching is.

Went really well. The interviewer is from the same educational background as I am, so she knows what my study is about. We talked for 45 minutes, had a few laughes and I really hope that I get it. She told me that she had other people for interviews as well, but that my CV and application was very well written and looked very interesting

The picture Nate is referring to is this picture, which some of you have already seen, which was taken on my first trip to London in a park

NSFW I guess...

I hate the innuendo at school 7-8 year olds talking to each other one lad going to the other 'I want you to sit on my face, I really want you to sit on my face'
I sat opposite them like, kill me.

My computer's literally on its last legs. Half the file system is corrupted, shortcuts missing, dll's failing or missing, chkdisc runs on each bootup, have run 4 separate virus scans each returned a clean bill of health, random program crashes, internet connection playing up etc. I'd do a "sfc /scannow" but haven't got a clue where my original XP disc is.

Managed to get it working by squirting a large amount of fox semen into the hard drive and threatened the motherboard with butter and that seemed to work, but I think tomorrow I am going to order a new PC. Finally.

Nice one. Make sure you get an SSD. I got a 120 GB one because it was on offer but wish I got a bigger one now.

I'm not using it for gaming. Purely internet / word / excel / tv / video / music / light photo editing. Thats pretty much it. I reckon I need a fairly light spec

i5 quad core
8 or 16 GB Ram
WIFI card
Bog-standard mobo
Fairly basic graphics card
1 TB hard
HD monitor

I reckon I could get away with on-board 7.1 surround sound and not need a dedicated sound card

I'm not looking to spend more than £900

Do I really need a SSD for such a basic system?
