One thing I forgot to check is the rad before the bathroom, it gets hot but want to double check the valve is open. Not going to start fucking about at this time of night plus I am watching Wheel of Time again, cannot sleep but I have a phone appt with Dr in several hours so hopefully I can get some horse tranqs.

Aha, one thing I know I have not done this year is put inhibitor in the system (the article mention that). I know I have some of that in the garage. That is one thing I can get Dad to do when he pops round in the morning.

Need advice from any central heating experts before my family try and dismantle my house. So I have BG Homecare but before I ring them and possibly look like a right twat I have a bathroom rad which is not getting hot, I have turned the 2 valves to make sure they are not stuck, Dad has bled the whole house, the rad next to the bathroom rad gets hot.

Any quick wins before I ring BG?

Turn the other radiators right off and see if it gets hot then.

Scumbags gonna scumbag. There's been a small core of agitators who've been ratcheting up the anti (non-white) immigrant sentiment for the last year, and then yesterday an Algerian guy stabbed a couple of little kids (reasons unknown atm) in town, and it all kicked off as an immigrant protest that devolved into rioting and looting, by the local chavs.

Worst thing was one bit of footage of a Guard being attacked on O'Connell Bridge started circulating, and the guy is a friend of mine, and his wife saw the footage in pretty much real time and of course she couldn't get hold of him. He's OK, black and blue and three broken fingers, but pretty traumatic for him and his family.

Oh, and the person who foiled the guy attacking the kids? A Brazilian migrant deliveroo rider who knocked the guy out with his helmet.

Spent about £100 on pointless shit on top.

Nice enough town, not a great deal to look at.

I don't like the politicking. They're absolutely indistinguishable from the Tories now. There's no moral centre. I was born in the fucking 70s, I grew up with a ZX Spectrum and ice on the inside of windows, 3 miles barefoot in the snow, to take a piss etc. Trying to explain to my wife that she can charge her stupid fucking pen thing, for her stupid fucking ipad thing, with her phone charger, and I don't have to go searching for an adapter for the type C to type C cable it came with.

The fact that it sticks to the stupid fucking ipad thing, magnetically, yet has no wireless charging, like any android thing in the last 5 years, is beyond me.
