Is the camera any good? You stuck Cyanogen on it?
I wouldn't say the camera is especially good. Mediocre at best? Frankly I don't tend to use the camera much though. Probably the most I've ever used it was the trip I just took in the USA. The pictures are all good enough but if you look at them at 1:1 they're very naff in terms of how sharp they are. I'm fairly old school though in that I believe if you want decent pictures then you invest in a decent camera. I've chucked on a couple of examples for you to have a look at, worth noting though that these are all just point and click and the night view was through glass.

I've not put Cyanogen on there as I've had no real issues with OxygenOS. In fact it's got a couple of neat tweaks that now I've gotten used to it would be good if they were in regular android (like switching out icons you don't want from the slide down quick menu)

Umm no. Stop taking advantage of less mature children.
IMO. A 18 y/o sleeping with his 15 y/o girlfriend and the parents press charges are wrong (innocent 18 y/o in my book). A 28! y/o grooming a 15 y/o is a hella lot more wrong.
Just because they are physically "ready" to have sex and conceive children doesn't make it ok.

I think it's all about expectation. I don't expect the images to be perfect so I'm not disappointed with the results. I've no major issues in any way with the handset. My only initial concern was the lack of NFC (as my previous phone was a Nexus 5) with the supposed rise of Android Pay but frankly my bank card does NFC so I've not noticed or cared.

Moved to vodafone 4G from EE, 10x better, I've literally gained 3 bars everywhere.

I have a 4G phone on each network, can't say I agree with that in the slightest. I get far better performance from a bar on EE than I do on Vodafone with full signal.

Oh and that feeling when you get on a Germanwings plane from Wrocław to Düsseldorf and arrive at your destination...

WTF?! Why? I can see the need for a private and work one, but each network? What kind of mental aberration/OCD is this?
You don't understand this because you don't work for a company, but you are self employed.

Because work probably pays for his phone, and they probably pay absolutely fucking loads, and Bodhi doesn't care about how much they spend, so what's the point complaining?

Also, @Bodhi didn't you kind of just agree with what @Job was saying? :p

Infact, I know someone who works for a massive company who's job is basically to shop around for the best deals on leases for cars & phones.

She has a very good phone and a very good car.

Says it all really. :p

What the feck has that got to do with the price of fish? It's not like I've spent my whole life surrounded by people who work traditional jobs or anything...

Off the top of my head there are four different major-league mobile providers in the UK - and with the exception of a friend who's actual job is in mobile telephony infrastructure then I know zero people who have more than two phones, regardless of employment type.

So, pray tell cokenozzle - how many phones do you have? And, if you're a phone-humping weirdo like Bodhi, what's your rationalisation for your unnecessarily expensive and voluminous phone ownership paradigm?

He has a phone on each network, meaning Vodafone and EE.

I've told you before that when cycling I'm stupid - and I'm coast-to-coasting Wales at the moment, which for some reason has a reputation for being quite hilly.

And I still don't get what being a contractor has to do with anything. Well, apart from the fact that it gives me the free time to do stupid stuff like coast-to-coast Wales :)

I have my own personal phone, albeit on a business contract through my company, on Vodafone, and I also have a work phone, which is the number written on all my paperwork, website, down the side of the vans and all that. Customers call that and not me personally.

That is through BT who own EE, and therefore piggy back their network. they used to use Vodafone but since they now own EE, of course they are going to use them

Now I know you all moan about Vodafone, but where I am in the southeast it always been the better network. The EE service is shit around here tbh.

And apparently the bars on the screen bear no guarantee of signal strength

One is through work, the other is private? Used to have just my work one but got fed up of not being able to unplug, so went back to having 2 phones.

I think the last straw was when people started sending me work related Hangouts on my day off to play golf, which pretty much ruined my card in the competition I was playing in. That's a huge no no :)

But anyway work are with Vodafone, mines with EE. Data is FAR better on EE - Vodafone can only do 4G near big cities, and I'd rather not live in one of those. Pretty much same phone on each network too (Z3 and a Z5).

I have no idea what my company pays for our mobile contracts as it's not really my business, I do know roaming charges etc are less than consumers pay on Vodafone. But as I said, not really my business.

Don't think I was agreeing with Job at all, in fact the opposite, I was just suggesting he doesn't compare bars and focuses on the connection itself.

Of course I could have suggested that it was down to him getting rid of the Korean junk he had previously and swapping to the phone manufacturer of the gods. But apparently I say that a lot, so meh.
