I remember being round my old mans house when the twin towers went down. He was still in the paras and got a phone call saying that he needed to be ready to mobilise within hours. My (now) wife started getting worried that WW3 was about to kick off and I would end up being called up.

You dont expect there to be a cyclist in the middle of a lane, that's kinda stupid, and aparrently going slowly must around a corner is even more ridiculous.

Sure if you're ripping it down hill and you're taking a wide turn in order to keep up the speed, do it by all means, but if you're going slow enough that you can make yourself smaller on the road, then do it.

It's a bit like rape, sure people are out to have some rapey rapey, but dressing like a slut doesn't help.

Went up there a couple of years back. Was amazing. I didn't know it was some sort of road cyclist mecca but it apparently is.

Of course, beautiful things in beautful places will appeal to everyone. No problem with that at all. But you have to remember you're not on a racetrack. If you want balls-out unsafe speed then track days are the way forward.
