Interesting, Reddit are all over this with a top comment as follows:

Gorilla Glass cracking

Can confirm, this is the reason right here. Cracked glass means that you no longer have a boxed structure - you're effectively bending a flat sheet of aluminum now.
In automotive and aerospace engineering, we call this a "body in white", compared to a fully assembled vehicle. In a car, the front and rear windshield alone increase the stiffness of the frame by a factor of 2x. This is why crash testing is done with a fully assembled car, rather than just the frame and restraint system.
for example:
https://www.roush.com/portals/1/downloads/articles/application_modal_compliance.pdf
Adding fixed glass to the BIP can be expected to reduce the compliance by a factor of ~ ½, and addition of closures (doors, hatchback, etc.) will also reduce the compliance.

Could be BS, after all Abe Lincoln famously said every quote on the internet was made up.

Iraq was justified on the basis of WMDs, I think it's colossally unfair and equally ridiculous to blame a single person for that, lots of Brits loved the idea at the time, and those who opposed it from the get go were looneys, now if you're running for a place of political power and it says on your CV that you opposed the Iraq war, it gives you brownie points.

Were you still in nappies in 2003 or something? There was never a majority of support in the UK for the 2003 invasion, and the whole WMD thing was derided as absolute bullshit at the time by many, many commentators (not "looneys" at all), including the UN Inspection team. Get it straight, Tony Blair controlled the Labour Party whip and he colluded with the Americans to give British backing to the war. He's to blame.

Not forgetting to mention Georgey boy wanting to finish his daddys business for him. It was the first thing you knew was going to happen as soon as he got elected (you do know there was another Iraq war don't you @Gwadien? :) )

Now think about that - even if you don't think that's the only way you can go about it - in theory, it works to keep your family safe right? It's kind of the same thing that happened with Jews during the 19th and early 20th century, ghettos weren't a Nazi creation, anti Jewish sentiment in the UK was high, but we were the nicest to them out of the European nations.

Where do you get this stuff? You want to know the nation that was "nicest" to Jews prior to the 1930s? Germany. (And the Austro-Hungarians). It was further east that jews suffered persistent abuse.

The gulf war was the first one, that was justified and involved Kuwait and Iraq.

The Iraq war was the illegal one where our government lied so we toppled a government and fucked off leaving yet another power vacuum, thus creating IS.

To be fair the Gulf War was also referred to as the Iraq War before the 2003 Iraq War happened.

Not really. It was the Gulf War. Then it briefly became Gulf War I as the Iraq invasion became Gulf War II until (as expected by everyone not called Donald Rumsfeld) it became a giant clusterfuck quagmire, and then it became the Iraq War. But the 1990-1 war has always been The Gulf War.

When the Gulf war started, I though it was 'The Golf War' and it was a feud between Iraq golf clubs, and couldn't understand why we were getting involved.

I was 20 at the time

The best thing about the Gulf war was some tank game on the Atari ST, can't remember its name but it was great.

I remember being round my old mans house when the twin towers went down. He was still in the paras and got a phone call saying that he needed to be ready to mobilise within hours. My (now) wife started getting worried that WW3 was about to kick off and I would end up being called up.
