I have to admit I never realised just how much of a well oiled machine Earth really is.

Oceans filled with azolla which can apparently absorb up to 6 tonnes of Co2 per acre, then rainfall interacting with rock which draws Co2 from the atmosphere and carries it to the oceans where the azolla is which in turn absorbs it and lowers temperatures overall.

So the question comes up - how the fuck are we generating so much Co2 that this well oiled machine simply cannot cope? I think the human race needs a kick up the arse to fix its evil ways, some sort of catastrophic event that will force us to change.

It drives me potty to see the racist word so cheapened by using it in a far milder and incorrect context, not liking black people is NOT racist, claiming they commit more crime is NOT racist, mainly because it is true, but it's endemic racism that causes it.
White people think their 'race' is better and more worthy of existence, it may simply be geographic, the mass killing of an ethnic minority on USA soil would cause a whole measure more of outrage, even if they weren't American citizens.
You may take offence at the racist label, but our foreign policy and media reaction are the very description of racism, which is a million times more destructive than bigotry/xenophobia against different cultures.
To throw the racist label at every tiny event may be seen to draw a line on the wedge, but it simply diverts attention from it's real and potentially genocidal consequences, it's an endemic part of human evolution and needs to be exposed, discussed honestly and eradicated like a phobia by dissecting it's myth, but we never will if people are scared to bring it up.
I get called racist because I think letting different cultures en masse into this country is happening too fast , I'm not being racist, I'm worrying about social cohesion which is incredibly fragile as our past has shown us over and over again.

Well I did day that in my post, it's not racist to say Muslims are more religious or sexist than westerners, but it is racist to say it's because they are all backwards.
You can call an individual a fucking backward cock and that's between you and them, but if you suggest his race are all alike, that's racist, but now that individual slander will get you prosecuted for racism.

I watched a documentary a little while back about American prisons. In an interview with a top judge (or whatever they are called there) they said that nowhere else in the civilised world can you see a baby born and know in near certainty that the will at some point in their life get involved in crime because of social and economic forces.

America is basically broken. The institutional racism gors deep and I don't think anyone either knows how or really wants to fix it. The people that bleat on about it happening in the UK have no idea.

Only if you look at the atmosphere. The oceans are warming up quite quickly. And considering that it takes a hell of a lot more energy to warm water than air, it's cause for concern.

As I've said before there is no reason to fuck over earth more than necessary. Use sustainable sources of energy. All studies on whether the co2 levels are alarming or not can probably be debated, but I don't think there are any studies that state we should keep increasing them and not take advantage of the free energy we're given. Burning fossils is so short sighted

It is yes but until we have come up with a realistic alternative we haven't got a great deal of choice. All we seem to be doing is putting in short term or inefficient piles of junk such as wind farms. By the time they have been shipped over from China they take years to make any positive energy and by then they are coming round for replacement.

That is going to far. Describing someone who is black as being black is not racist is is descriptive. But the woman was genuinely worried she had said something wrong.
