I used to pirate stuff, but hated it. Guys on bikes get, quite rightly, scared when drivers do that. I get buzzed, deliberately, almost every time I use the road on my bike. Yet if I crash into a car who gets hurt?

Also, if you actually watch the vid carefully you will notice the driver only has a foot or so between the car and the parked cars on the drivers side so either its the fucking Shambles in York or the cyclist is being an inconsiderate prick and riding down the middle of the road without a care in the world. I bet he wobbles around while staring into the middle distance too.

Precisely, the cyclist could easily have got this magic 6 feet cars apparently give each other if he had simply moved over a bit to let traffic through. Maybe he couldn't hear the car coming over the sound of his self righteousness and his adenoids.....

I was in direct contact with him everytime he had chance to respond to my communications.. Horrific is the only way to describe it. If you remember, a school got bombed by Israel that was being used as a medical centre. That was the place he was at. The UK doesn't directly arm Israel. There are component exports for flight systems etc. but no actual weapons. Without a full trade embargo, its actually pretty difficult to stop exports of stuff that goes to make other stuff that can then be used as weapons. There's probably quite a lot of British stuff that goes into American weapons that are then sold to Israel for example.

Bombing a UN hospital is not defence it is a warcrime, one that Israel will never be punished for. Israel hides behind what happened in WW2 which dirties the memory of what happened. On the whole, the countries around them are not even close to being as down right nasty as Israel, they attempt to paint them as such but it just isn't true. I don't blame the Palestinians for fighting back, what would you do if a technologically, militarily advanced neighbour routinely killed your children?

This x1000. Unlike some of the people convinced Israel are a bunch of cunts I've actually been there and found it entirely pleasant. The people were perfectly hospitable and made us feel very welcome - they did love a good argument and couldn't queue to save their lives - but on the whole they just appeared to be normal people just wanting to go about their business. Preferably without having to spend the afternoon in one of the many rocket shelters because Gaza were lobbing bombs in their direction.

The fact that there were rocket shelters everywhere, and the fact they had developed the world's most advanced missile defence system, makes me suspect they do see these rockets as a threat.

But hey, some dude in Surrey thinks the rockets aren't a threat, so best Tel Aviv they needn't have bothered.

By the way I ain't saying Israel are perfect, I'm just saying there are plenty of normal people caught in the middle - on both sides - and to want to see them wiped off the map is cuntishness of the highest order. Once again those that bore everyone silly going on about tolerance and how we are all equal, are the most intolerant of the lot.

I was specifically referring to the IRA, which id the closest thing we had to that situation, if we had rained rockets on Dublin everytime a bomb went off then, quite rightly, the world would be aghast..in fact the States would have declared war on us to stop it, our government would have been arrested for war crimes and our weapons confiscated...billions of pounds of compensation to be paid...Israel get's fuck all more than a telling off because Palestinians are brown people.

Thing is though there was a *lot* of people calling for us to "just bomb the fuckers". I remember it well. If it went to a vote at the time it would of been close. Rightly or wrongly.

Honestly all I'm saying is a lot of the other stuff is not reported and Israel is seen as a big rich bully constantly, which a lot of the time it can be but not 100% of the time.
