Nah, don't think that will ever be a commercial thing. It also misses the best bit about bungee jumping which is the bounces back up again.

Also there's much more potential for "splat" as a) you're not actually secured to anything and b) the length of the line is more important than for bungee jumping because you need to get closer to the ground before it stops expanding and c) the length of the line would have to be adjusted for every person's weight. Never commercially viable for those reasons let alone the lack of "going back up" fun.

New Yougov poll makes sad but predictable reading...support for multiculturalism has plummeted from 62 to 36 % with 56% of Britons feel Islamic religion is a threat to western democracy, this was taken before the Tunisia shootings, a slow slide to internment for Muslims is on the books, and we just don't hear a response..if that was my community being represented by fanatics I would be knocking on doors to prove my alligience.

If in a Western society you expect Muslims to integrate into local cultures, then how can you expect those people to apologise on behalf of 'Islam' if those people see theirselves as integrated in a Western Society - She basically said, If she should apologise and stand up for her religion, so should every British person, for she is British first, then Muslim.

Equally, why don't you as a white person go to America and apologise on behalf of the white people of the planet for the mistreatment of blacks in the US?

You'll find the vast majority of humans just want to get on with life and get the simplest form of normality, and to achieve that, they'll put stuff like religion on the backburner - not remove it - but put it on the backburner.

If you're going to blanket treat every single Muslim on the planet that they need to stand up 'for theirselves' (when they associate theirselves alot more with those people that are telling them to stand up for theirselves, rather than the suicide bombers) then how are you going to let them integrate? - The only response is no - they won't integrate, so therefore we need to remove them.

If you're going to use NI as an example, I'm pretty damn fucking sure if you asked every single person 'do you actually care about the whole Catholic/Protestant thing' they'd say, lol, no.

It's a bit like saying if you asked a Muslim person in the middle of Iraq if they cared about the Sunni/Shia thing, they'd say no - but obviously they have to pick a side right now, and it's the fanatics forcing them to pick those sides.

Of course they'll care, Catholics want their children going to a Catholic school, so integration is out the window right away. My point is that people of the same faith find it hard or impossible to integrate, sectarianism is the perfect example and is a continued issue across Scotland, not just NI. I guess it depends on your yardstick / definition of integration is.

Well regardless of wether they do or not , that is the white public perception, which is far more dangerous than the truth, I can't really comment because I hardly see muslims or know any, in fact the only conversations I have had were very hostile on their side because I'm quite gregarious and it winds them up, I've been stared at for chatting to a Pakistani girl and asked by an Arab if I agreed that the US is the devil.
Probably because the minorities I meet are still in very small groups and have built a wall around themselves, fearfull their kids will become westernised ( which they will) very quickly.

Sectarianism in NI is actually about much more than religion; everyone is white, everyone looks the same but they know which side of the line they're on; there's over 400 years of bad blood and it's very real, even when most of them never go near a church anymore.

As long as they denounce their religion, I'm more than happy to have Muslims here, religious belief is beyond dangerous, it segregates, promotes elitism and gives an excuse for violence, a religious person is simply a zombie controlled by powerful men, the most dangerous mix possible.
