When was the last time we had a commemoration for the millions of Russians killed due to a oppressive Communist regime?

We do shit -every- year for the Holocaust, don't get me wrong, what happened was awful, but I don't see any other major event of a lot of people dying being remembered.

you don't think that might be because most people are already fairly aware of what happened there? I mean, my kids (14 and 16) know what happened at Auschwitz, Sobibor, Belsen etc. without having to watch another documentary.

Wow give me a break I only just looking at the forums lol. The ww2 holocaust had a much bigger global impact than the Armenian one did. We could go ahead and look at all the times people have been deliberately targeted. And I am not saying they are all really crap and shouldn't have happened. But what the Germans did is a) the daddy of them all b) still relatively recent and has people alive who were in the death camps. C) more sick and twisted than most.

I would gladly watch a film about others but my special interest is in ww2 and its consequences. And to your original point it has nothing to do with Muslims that they are putting those shows on tv. Not everything is to do with damn Muslims

No they arnt. Two programs on channel four don't mean the west is actively doing an us vs them.

Also there weren't roving film makers at the Armenian genocide as there were with the liberation forces. So I would guess there isn't a lot of film around to make a documentary about it.
