This could be me reading this wrong, but I think this is a good idea if it says negative things about the Government at the time, I mean, should Labour's thin chances be sabotaged by the report.

Seems Clegg is upset cos he wanted some cheap seats cos he's going to do purty shit

I see Monday was the coldest day so far and energy use hit it's peak....wind power contributed 1%.
1 frickin percent.
And all those windy days didn't help because most turbines had ti be turned off.

It's cos it's socialism vs American conservative propaganda.

I'd hardly call Obama socialist, I mean he is left wing for the US, but then their idea of left wing is quite a long way to the right of ours.

Not sure I'd call him a bad President, I mean he didn't manage to kick start events which caused the entire world economy to fall on it's arse whilst putting cigars in an intern like Clinton, or piss off the entire Middle East like Bush, not sure what he's done that's been fantastic (but I'm happy to be corrected - my US colleagues don't seem too enamoured with him). He does seem a bit too keen to be seen as a cool President rather than a good one, and by all accounts spends more time on the golf course than in the White House, and it was a bit disappointing he didn't send anyone to the Paris March after how supportive the French were are 9/11.

The cigars in the intern was surely a good thing Bodhs old bean? I mean, if you spaff on a bird's dress you don't expect her to keep it in her wardrobe for a few years before pulling it out and going "I've got your DNA - gimme money!" :)

As for clinton kick starting events - that was more the deregulation that occured under Regan and Maggie. Laissez-faire has clearly been Laissez-Fail.

I suppose the 'Great' American politician that the Americans really do appreciate would be McCarthy, since he brought in the anti-communist/pro-capitalist mentality which forms the basis for the culture of the American people; You're free to make money.

If I was President I probably wouldn't be sticking anything in an intern if i'm honest, there's plenty of time for enjoyment after that :)

We'll agree to disagree on the second part, I fail to see how forcing banks to lend money to people who couldn't pay it back would ever be a good idea. In fact you could argue that the shit hit the fan because the state got involved, probably the opposite of Laissez-faire by definition.

The Sun = Best Trolls Ever.

Not a massive fan of the paper myself (although I'd read it above the Daily Heil, Express and the Grauniad), but they have gone up in my estimation massively today with bringin back Page 3, 2 days after it supposedly finished.

Cap is indeed doffed.

I think the BBC were just as good with their puns.

The original headlines was 'The Suns Page 3 gone - The Times'

Then it was 'Does the Sun need to catch up with the times?'
