I would very much doubt it - downloading a 500 MB file using 4G is unlikely to use more data than 3G, but I don't know if LTE has certain "data overheads" that in practice means you download .. er .. more. I'm not qualified to answer really.

One thing is certain, 4G drains batteries more quickly - I've got 4G turned off and only use it if I absolutely need to.

4g only let's you download faster. As far as I know it shouldn't make the data you download more. But I guess they think if your going faster you might start downloading more. Tbh I think 1gb for a month is tiny if they expect you to stream video etc which is what people like sky are trying to sell. This is why I got unlimited data on my phone and 10 gb on my tablet

Re 4G and more data, I would say...YES! Why? Because 4G is just so fast and delicious that you start using your phone for every little thing. I got a 50% bandwidth used warning 9 days in to my first month.

Well yeah, but if you download 500MB it's still 500MB. Whether you then go on to use more data because it's so darn swift is another matter.

oh aye, I didn't mean to give the impression that 500MB would magically become more data. that's impossible (until the telcos find a way to make it so and charge you for it).

4G is nice, but I have it switched off on my phone. Drains the battery life twice as fast. 3G does just fine. Only use 4G for maps

Through this date-thingy - writing with someone that seems decent and all, she asks to meet somewhere about an hour ago, all through text messages.

She's right to a certain extent, why should boys learn about the biology of boys and girls the biology of girls at an early age? Apart from the more or less natural seperation of boys playing football and girls playing with dolls, the year 6 sex education lesson was the first real institutional gender divide, I mean, back then even boys and girls even got dressed in the same room as each other.

We even watched a 1980s cartoon about it which was horribly one dimensional, so yeah, I can see the need of a general sex education lesson, or gender studies.

Where she goes wrong in my opinion, and most victim-based theorists do, Feminists and Marxists alike is that they try to apply things that won't really benefit, and it just won't realistically work in a educational environment.

I mean, you can easily set up a school football club for boys and girls, and if girls go, fine, but if they don't want to then then that's fine top, they are happy, and our society has the capabilities to help these people to do what they wish.

I don't think the answer is to set up groups to say why do girls play netball and boys basketball? Go play basketball girls cos Emily Pankhurst fought for your right to do so.

Nope, nor do I expect everyone to vote because people died for our right to do so.

Feminists also believe you're wrong, as for her A-Level son, when you start a level history you start getting into theorists camps such as Marxists, modernists, Whigs etc etc etc, so why would she get upset if say a Marxist wasnt too interested in writing about women's movements because to him or her, they're sort of irrelevant.

Tl;Dr - She makes an excellent point but then ruins it with a typical feminist spiel.
