Just watching this on Film Four, been years since ive seen it.

Fuck its a good film. The scene in the train station is just perfect cinema in the way it builds to a climax.

its almost like sex.

Avatar is a special effects masterpeice and a good popcorn movie, something quite different from a classic film.

You do have to wonder how often studio executives go on a two or three week holiday when they hear Costner is on his way with a script.

Careful, if you watch waterworld without a suitable amount of alcohol in your system, you tend to throw your tv out of the window. Still its better than its Royal Mail remake.

The last scene, with de Niro made of rage and held by the justice officers, facing Costner while he just smiles is pure win

One of the 2 decent perfomances of Costner's career. The other one being "A Perfect World", tho thats an all time masterpiece of cinema history.

Is true that there aren't so many good films as the untouchalbes nowadays, but there are still masterpieces and v. good films, also lots of rubbish, due to cinema oversized growing rate in the last century, but cinema is still alive!

i.e. the fight club,wall-e, origin, 211 jail...

a lot of people on here watch an awful lot of crap movies. Hot Tub Time Machine is not going to be remembered in 100 years time as one of the all time great movies. Unless you have an arse for a brain, of course.
