Maybe the other threads won't be better, but atleast the ones that arent a Discussion will be removed (rvr section is better naming for this)

err no, people post what they want to post. i doubt its very much influenced by what other people post

i like the grats threads, its nice to be able to say some nice (or bad.. /cough) words when someone reaches a goal. 'interesting' is a relative term and everyone has different ideas about what they do- and don't like

i like the forum as it is except for harsh insulting and pointless 'hi, hi2u, oh hi2u2 m8' threads that get locked anyways. its only fun here when you allow people to post what they want, the moment you try to enforce very strict rules to try and push them into posting 'interesting' stuff the forum will probably die out and a new one will be arranged.

better not give flim ideas now tho

grats threads are here because people want them - there are a few vocal people that hate them. Ican't say I'd miss them if we stopped them but you are right they're not discussions - maybe we should call it RvR Discussions and Achievements

imo we need an Fightclub section like Steakandcheese.com have.

u can flame, insult whine about everything and everyone.

but if u do it in another forum than fightclub u'll get banned.

It helps alot 2 keep all Forum sections clean from any insults/flames/whines.

Indeed, good idea. Like on daoc.catacombs.com, they have what they call the Rant Room, seems to work ok for them, I go there now and then to read.

Rant room SOUNDS like a good idea but tbh it will just become a place to brush up on 'your mother' jokes. If you make a forum designed for getting a little aggresive about elements of the game or players of the game ..very soon it will just become a overly trolled hate bin with just about everything goes bar die irl .

Maybe ..a Player to Player forum for some positive and more probable negative Fao threads would be pretty handy as long as standard abuse rules still applied ..leaving the Rvr discussions free to just post stuff about incoming patch notes and announcing that your guild group is running in Agramon that evening etc ..that would be very nice .

Gratz Threads and Fao threads go into the Player to Player forum .

Could work ..maybe not ..Have no experience in this kind of thing but its certainly something I would opt for if it was polled ..hate polls
