She was awful, the fact that he suddenly had the love of his life who was his landlords daughter, etc, etc. All pants, too quick and none of it really believable. S2 would have fallen on its arse if they hadn't introduced Saul & Mike imho

Totally agreed, as much as I loved it there are places where they went wrong and took too long to recover. It is still top 10 of all time for TV series but it has too many flaws to be the greatest. Much like Sopranos.

Yeap, finally managed to watch the first episode and while a good cop show, it didn't strike me as "oh my gods got to watch more".

Season 1 is a slow burn, very much character development, it speeds up nicely around ep5 or 6 iirc.

Enjoyed Revolution ep1, be interested to see how it grows. Sons of Anarchy was lovely, this is building into a great season, it just feels really tight. Boardwalk was a lovely welcome return, definately a big year for that show and I get a feeling this one is going to see the rise of Al Capone, hell he should have his own fucking show the Chicago stuff has been that good.

Looking forward to all the other new shows starting next week, especially Last Resort because the trailer showed great potential. Oh and The Mob Doctor was okay, better than expected but how that grows I have no idea.

Are you kidding? It was like The Walking Dead without the zombies or Falling Skies without the aliens - the only interesting parts of those shows Don't even get me started on the whole "electricity stops working" idea. I'd be mad but my nerve impulses no longer work to think anything ....

Hehe, grumpy bastard! Agree though, luckily I knew what to expect so I kind of put my disbelief on hold, tis a very far fetched concept but I am just glad they are making new shows instead of more reality crap. Sadly I don't think it will ever reach the heights of Jericho, that was a show killed off far too soon, much like Firefly.

That show pissed me off a lot, I thought it was a really good idea but they turned it into some stupid teen drama.
