I have a medium Stone Elders shield, and a large Frenzied, for different “occasions”.

Do yourself a favour then and pick up some crafted shields.

about sheilds

Just wondered - what would u guys advise for a caster guarder such as myself. go for small, meduim or large sheild - I know the size affects how many attacks can be blocked at once, but also effects the speed at which u will slam - but rarely see defensive tanks with less than large sheild.

Also - how does quality actually effect slam - does it effects 'to-hit' - and also Stun time - or is stun time fixed to 9 secs?

edit: typo

The only effect quality has on slam is the damage done - which isnt the most important thing.

The reason to use a crafted shield rather than dropped is the 35% (to-hit) bonus, since almost every dropped shield is only 25%.

Remember that the speed of a weapon doesnt control the time before it hits, but the time until the next attack.

Shields are very cheap - no harm in getting a small and large crafted shield and see which you prefer.
