Depends if you're after the football or the atmosphere, yes, no country would automatically qualify, but then I don't think the host nations actually care if this happens or not, I think they're just happy with the money they get, and the publicity they get as a nation due to the tournament.

But yes, fan-wise, it's a stupid idea - My dad didn't go to these Euros, he usually goes to both the World Cup and Euros, but it would've cost him ALOT more to go to and stay in Ukraine/Poland than it did for him to travel to South Africa.

I think it will be a very boring spectacle of football unless there is an early. Passing games cancelling each other out in the midfield. Rooting for Spain as my boss is Spanish.

Aoami Have to agree, Spain have certainly put the pressure on the Italians. Watching the first half Spain deserve to win.
