AS good as Italy where in the first half, and after the first 20 minutes of the second, Germany threw this away with some very poor tactical choices in the first half. They didn't play as they had previously, far too much respect for the Italians.

I really hope Italy beat Spain, but I doubt it.

Well you were wrong about England Italy, so maybe you should follow your own advice....

Stop being blinkered, Loew made the wrong decisions re the starting line up and system, Italy exploited it perfectly. I don't think Italy will beat Spain unless they are extremely lucky. Spain will choke the energy out of Italy and get one goal in the last 10 minutes of the game.

I think it's a great idea, you'd have no host nation, so everyone would qualify on merit.
