I may have ruined the original by watching the PG-rated Malaysia Airlines edition. Did not laugh or chuckle once.

Their version of The Matrix had me in stitches though. Replaced all swearwords with 'golly', 'sugar' etc.

Saw Ready Player One just now, good enough movie, follows the book overall, but most of the details are different. Could have done with a bit more character building, but it was an entertaining romp.

Best of the Rings was the first one - and the worst sequence was the distracting staircase falling bit when they were on the run from the balrog.

I liked it. Think "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" coupled with "The Big Lebowski" and a solid dose of hippie culture thrown in.

Be warned, it's not the most coagulated film, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just seen it tonight, loved it, but need to watch it again for all the easter eggs. You are right though, anyone under 25 will miss a lot of it

The trailer is important, it gives you an idea of what to expect.

Well for me I would rather just go and see it without that expectation as it ruins the film.
