I agree about bloody awful music but 4 years seems a bit harsh when half of todays murderers and rapists get about that !

This is a very old argument - you can't quantify the seriousness of a crime by the number of years of imprisonment. Large fraud cases can get long prison terms, but somebody who mugs an old lady and causes extreme distress can get 6 months. It's just not that simple.

Saying that, he was carrying a gun, and guns serve one purpose - killing.

Yep, I fail to see why he needed one and if a problem would of arisen no doubt he would of used it....either way I still would of locked him away for longer as he will most probably be out in 2 years. Any one who carry's a gun has the intent to use it at some point.
