I'm calling bullshit on the Alonso story. I've got my tinfoil hat on so I'll be OK. McLaren are being very cagey about what happened. We aren't getting anything worth listening to from him or his management. He's "at home" in Dubai I think. Not too far from OZ so you would expect a pro like him to be at the race to see how the car was performing and get as much info as possible.
My theory is that he's had a TIA or seizure of some kind. The car crashed for no reason apparently so he must have just stopped driving it. Maybe his speech is impaired and they don't want him in public, it just smells wrong.

Unless the other teams can pull some sort of miracle out of their collective arses, this year is down to Hamilton and Rosberg again. Vettel was 3rd, 35 seconds behind Hamilton. That's a HUGE margin.

It's getting juicy between Renault and Red Bull. It should be an interesting weekend for fireworks from those two. Renault have called Newey a liar for saying the only problem with their car was the power unit.

Much as Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel are the two things I dislike most in F1, that was a great drive. It did make me laugh when Hamilton went into full PR mode on the podium; I'm sure what he wanted to say was, "stupid bastards have been fucking up my tyres all weekend and this is the result".

Yeah I can't stand Vettel and Ferrari either but that was impressive from him. It's a bit premature to say Ferrari are going to be challenging Merc all season, Sepang has always been a good track for them.

Also, Rosberg is just awkwardness personified whenever he does anything it seems.
