I thought the safety car was going to win at one point.

THat was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth the wait. It was a crazy race, accidents left right and centre but it was brillant.

Jenson had an outstanding drive, how he managed that I do not know. I would really like the tv coverage to get hold of all the tapes and just release a video of Buttons entire race so you can see exactly how he managed it.

One of the most enjoyable races for a very long time, the moment Button was approaching the DRS zone you could see Vettel was shitting himself and in the end he couldnt handle it.

GO GO JENSON!!!! (quoting the missus there!)

Fantastic. Can't be many times a driver has gone from last to first, never mind with a drive through and two collisions. And it was good to see Vettel crack, I don't have a problem with him dominating, but this proves he's not invincible. Shame about Schumacher though.

I cheered when Webber past Schumy, never wanted him to come back to racing :p

And though I known people to do last to first in other racing, I cant remember it happening in F1, especially with all the issues button had

I'm left so lethargic after that race I can't even be bothered to try to describe the dullness of it all. :(

Engineer - Lewis, slow down
Lewis - I can't drive any slower

Engineer - Lewis, speed up
Lewis - I'm driving as fast as I can
Probably the highlight of the afternoon tbh.

Really hope Mc can pull something pretty special out of the bag for Silverstone, aero-speaking.

A friend of mine suggested a "controlled experiment" to liven things up for this race - like an impromptu malfunction of the swing bridge, much like scalextric of old when you'd just make a huge ramp and see how far they'll fly.

Shamelessly stolen from another forum, but I think the BBC video selection sums it up the best:

jep, Vettel is simply destroying everyone out there.

If doesn't have mechanical failure he will win this season with his eyes closed.

It's his as far as I'm concerned unless something bad happens (sudden reliability collapse which leads to a string of DNF's or an accident which keeps him out for a few races or something). They were saying "there's still 300 points up for grabs" but even if Vettel doesn't win the races it's hard to see him finishing outside the top 3 so he is still going to grab a *lot* more points before the season is over. :(

I'm raising Kryt one trip to the new Silverstone complex with a day visiting Force India F1 with a small indian filming team, interviewing and just chatting with the team managers and drivers and seeing all round the factory as they prepare the cars ready for the weekend!!

Still prefer my weekend of going to Mobil 1 evening party, meeting Lewis Hamilton there and having a chat with him whilst being wined and dined. Having hospitality at the Mobil 1 box for the silverstone race and having an absolute ball :)
To top it off I also got a lovely momento by way of a very limited edition "trophey" that contains oil from one of his (lewis's) car taken out after one championship winning races :D

But you are still a lucky bugger. lol. Need to find a way to get more time with the f1 guys. lol

Best race in ages. 3 drivers, 3 teams, all going for the result. Brilliant drive from hamilton and that is why he should ignore all the nay sayers.

Vettel again has shown that if he aint leading, he aint that good. Great pace but poor passer

Cracking race, thought it might be a bore in the very early stages but it soon picked up. The 3 way fight was fantastic and you couldn't pick a winner till the last few laps, although only one man deserved it :D
