Some real strange people in this game sometimes, lucky grivne knows he has lots of friends.

DAoC is a mmorpg - you will find all aspects of people, some who whine, some whos trying to get the best out things, others who just really dont bother about some classes are more "powered up" than others, - Whining is a normal thing in this game, but people take it to far
i.e when you hear your real life mates whine, then you dont go over "QQ MORE FUCKING NOOB!" etc, but you do in this game (some do) and thats pretty unfair, even though you dont repesent the "real you" through your character, you still get offend by comments, and being flamed by a mass of people, can really fuck up your day

All whine, and it can't be helped, but think about you actions - im sure Grivne/Dwera have gotten plenty of insulting comments, in the past few weeks, specially after his movie, i think people should stop making fun of others, and some people should get their ego problem sorted.

My personal experience of Grivne has 2 sides ... Note that I only speak with him on IRC, so what he is like in game may be completely different.

There is one side of him thats relatively normal, makes useful points and constructive criticism about classes, balancing, usual DAoC speak etc. Sadly, I've seen this side for about 5% of his communication on IRC? This may well be biased as IRC tends to be whine anyway, but like I said, this is *my* experience of him.

The less pleasent side (the one thats exposed about 95% of the time), is one of permanent whining and consistant hypocricy. What do I mean by such a statement? Well here is some examples of what I mean...

<Grivne> They are SO overpowerd, with their 2.5 spec points


<Grivne> Erf, just got added on. Why dont people fight solo?

The types of statements as per above, occur most days, much to my (and a lot of other players) amusement. However, if you try to point out to him that hes being silly? perhaps a hypocrit? You will probably get banned... shouted at... told to STFU etc by him. He frequently questions why people challenge his points, in my opinion its obvious. Normally at this point he then goes into some spiel about how he was picked on as a child, and thats made him the way he is. As if this is some form of excuse so that he can dish out abuse at people... and not get it back in return?

If he wants to act in this way, then that is his choice. I just dont see why he is so supprised when people respond offensively back.

Normally I dont really care about the drama's going on on prydwen but this time I believe someone quite stupid went abit too far.

Ooth, Grivne, it is a game, it is fictional characters, it is all it is. Nothing more, nothing less. Even if you are a roleplayer and your character would take actions like that in a very serious way, banning someone for tasteless humour isnt really right either. Shrug it off and go on dude, dont bother with a person that obviosly is a ****.

People here dont like Dwera, they think he whines to much, sometimes that may be true at times. However now people are taking it too far.

Some stupid person, whom got idea's that it is, has made an albion character RowenaHatedGrivne. Having fun is one thing, making personal attacks at other peoples emotions is another.

Really folks, no matter what you think leave him be, dont attack him personally. Sure, make issues with what he says, but lets stop direct insults at him. The same will be adviced to him and how he speaks to others but have some thought about others feelings.

Lets for once not be a bunch of abusive fucks as alot of the community is at times and keep it at a more mature level....

My opinion of Grivne is through speaking with him on MSN, and even if you find a person irritating, annoying or whatever in a game does not excuse harassment in any way.
I seriously hope that the person or persons doing this get their account banned. People need to remember that just because it is the internet it is still party to the same rules and regulations as real life or at least it should be.

To the one that did this:
You need to get out more to be honest, take a break from DAoC if its causing you to acting in such a low way, if DAoC pisses you off that much.

Its rather cowardly tbh, if you feel so strongly about another player, login irc, and discuss the problem, rather then leaving anon msgs in emain.

If you feel the need to spend 30 mins or so, of your life making new chars getting them to emain, move on to something else imho, your not wanted and/or needed within your guild, alliance, realm, game.

I like Grivne, I've been friends with him eversince I made my first char, but as I've told him alot of the whine is generating alot of hate, this thing with the graves is fucking rediculus what **** did that? I agree with parts of his SB movie being lame, the sub titles namely, which caused huge flame. People are still picking on him about Rowena (sp?), where's the point in that? Half the ***** who do it are about 13, Grivne's, believe it or not, a sensitive guy, and takes -EVERYTHING- to heart, as I said much can be deserved because of whine+movie, but theres a line between laughing at a whiner and taking the piss, to depressing him irl, try not to cross it, since we know how seriouse some people can take this game, fucknows what it could drive a person to when this game becomes your life, I've been there.

How you all gona feel inside if oneday there was a post here about him killing himself in real life, post as many sarcastic replies here as you want, if it actually happend you'd apologise for the way you acted, and it'd be too late. What's the deal with Grivne/Rowena anyway, wasn't it just another roleplay relationship? Like those controversial firbolg/elf love affairs. If people are getting worked up and taking offence at such petty acts, they need to check themselves and not the fool making these chars.
