Does dead rising have multiplayer co op? It looks cool but I'm not sure about long term appeal.

Lego star wars and Saints Row, no thanks :p

But yes to Splinter Cell!

Its like Resi Evil no mp.. the Capcom Rep explained to us there will be replay value in the way like Resident Evil.

The awards give plenty of replay value alone imo.

Done the Saint Row demo, I really enjoyed it.

If you feel the frame rate is not very good, I manage to find this quote that should clear a few things up.

First, thanks for the feedback!

As you can imagine, a demo like this has to be prepared well in advance of the final game build. Framerate optimizations (to both art and code) are typically ongoing until the last week of development. SR is definitely no exception.

While we felt the framerate in the demo is quite playable, it has improved significantly since the demo build was created. I think you'll be quite happy with it.

Im going away after I finish work and won't be able to play the Dead rising demo, this sucks been waiting for this demo for ages.

BTW Loved the N3 demo reminded me of a cross between DW and KUF still a fun game, prolly buy it when it comes down in price a few months after release.

Think the mall in Dawn of the dead and you are a reporter, who has to survive using anything and everything to hand, toys, hardware, guns, tables, umbrellas anything you find in a mall you can pretty much use to kill zombies with, also there are side quests with the surving humans, but its genrally about killing Zombies in fun ways.

Dead rising, how boring! Walking around a mall killing zombies is boring :(
Saints Row is just a bunch of sound files with swear words and 99 nights just plain sucks. :p

There is alot more to Dead Rising that killing zombies, the demo was hardly the best way to judge the game.

It dident even let us do any of the missions, you also had only one area to explore.

I love taking picture's you can set up some really awesome shots, I love heating the frying pan then burning the zombie faces then taking a quick pic of his half melted face.

I'd agree with you IF thats all there is to do in the main game.. but thats not it.. theres multiple endings.. one HUGE area to explore have you seen the map?

This game screams replay value all over it.

I could say the same about GTA being a soundtrack..

99 nights i agree it sucks.

But you got Dead Rising all wrong ;/

I think the DR demo would have been better if you actually got to do the Brad Backup mission instead of just killing zombies, though using the toy heads in the toy shop is fun.

Looks like it might shape up to a love or hate game.

Totally the opposite to me.. i was afraid of downloading the demo because of plot spoilers.

I have been looking forward to DR for along time.. the Sneak Preview event i got invited to from Capcom was great.. they made sure no story spoilers were revealed at all. In fact this is the same demo i played back then.

I have downloaded 2 demos since my time with 360.. Lost Planet and Dead Rising.. mainly because i do not like having a game spoiled by a demo with plot spoilers.

Went back and really explored the demo of DR last night, found out that if you mix OJ with a pie in a blender you get a potion that makes u untouchable by Zombies for a while, in the libary you get skill increases and I spent a good time putting things on Zombies heads and taking tons of pictures to see if I could get a decent rating.

The katana is great fun in the DR demo. Someone said there's a sub-machinegun in there somewhere to, but I'm yet to find it.

Wish there was an upgrade for the toy light saber that made it a real one and it's great fun throwing pies in zombie's faces and squirting them with water pistols.

I'm hooked and have pre-ordered. A story will just make it even better for me :)
