What a yellow-card bonanza though. Liverpool lost it completely the last 10 minutes.

A Swedish Liverpool fan was howling on top of his lungs throughout the game and with every yellow card received. Neymar receiving one in lastly did not seem to remedy his screaming either..

I really dislike Neymar, personally the refs really need to start getting tough on players badgering them.

Ive only just found out Jurgen lives around the corner from me, the missus saw him walking his dog and tried to collar him to appear at her running groups award ceremony.

Im pretty sure this chance meeting was more like an SAS raid.

Anyone else feel like Wolves are just a bit shit? I'm half expecting either Nuno or Hughes to be the first managers binned this season.

Cracking game, had everything, even a fight

Felt for vertonghen, no malice in that Second yellow just bad timing and poor luck.

Only getting a draw against United was the last straw.

He just isn't a very good manager, certainly not good enough for the PL.

they did not deserve it though, shitty should have had 3-4 goals in first half alone. Still glad it happens, makes the race more interesting.

The second leg of the Copa Libertadores final is (finally) about to kick off.

Well that was a superb match, it just got better and better after the first 45 minutes.

What an amazing recovery from looking like we'd absolutely fucked it a couple of matchdays ago.

You did well but I didn't read much in to this article until I watched the second half performance by Barca which was somewhat uninspired.

Daniel Agger turns 34 today. Had he not been made of glass and addicted to anthritis drugs, he could potentially still be playing in the Premier League

Just like that we're all out of defenders...

Joe Gomez, broken leg.
Matip, broken collar bone.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was taken off last night for *not sure why* but he didn't look happy.
VVD - well, out of the next CL game anyway (for a perfectly good tackle).

At least Dejan Lovren is "world class" :(

*cries*
*season derailed*

A "perfectly good tackle"? Are you high?
One footed, got the ball.

Followed through (yep he slid) but it's a contact game. Was never a card. Commentators agreed at the time.

Contact with ball before player so legal no?
Yep. Totally.

One footed. Not malicious (and didn't happen in slow-mo to make it "look worse"). And again, it's a contact game.
