He's not being prosecuted over it, and rightly so. But if you're a twat, expect consequences...

The police in estigated it and decided not to proceed. The free speech laws in this country are crap. If you offend someone or its deemed offensive then you can be prosecuted

You are free to harass people as you please but as stated you must be prepared to face the consequences, freedom of speech means you can say what you want but you have no right to be listened to. And if you are targetting someone and abusing them then likely it comes under harassment laws rather than a curtailment of free speech

I'm glad they are not giving in to 'player power' at the moment. He's signed a long term contract so he can honour it while waiting for a move rather than throwing his toys out the pram until he gets to go somewhere else.
